John Moore is an engineer and writer who lives and works in Houston, TX.  His novels have been published by Penguin/Ace, Baen Books, and YDP.  His short stories have appeared in Realms of Fantasy, Tomorrow, New Destinies, Aboriginal SF, Writers of the Future, Marion Zimmer Bradley's Fantasy Magazine, and many other magazines and anthologies.
